Lead Clinical Research Scientist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Lead to join our team at Genentech. As a Clinical Research Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing clinical strategies for assigned molecules and indications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of clinical strategies for assigned molecules and indications
  • Develop and execute clinical development plans for one or more molecules
  • Present and lead discussions relating to clinical data or protocol execution
  • Help cross-functional team members synthesize and contextualize clinical data to facilitate discussion and decision making
  • Conduct medical data review and collaborate with the Visual Analytics Manager to tailor visualizations and summaries of clinical and safety data
  • Process and conduct regular review and analysis of protocol deviations
  • Draft clarifications to protocols and protocol amendments as needed
  • Ensure the completeness and quality of CS documents in the trial master files

Requirements

  • Advanced clinical/science degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MSN, MPH, etc.) and 4 or more years of experience with clinical trials
  • In-depth understanding of drug development and experience working with the principles and techniques of data analysis, interpretation, and assessment of clinical relevance
  • Comprehensive understanding of product and safety profiles
  • Proficient in medical aspects of GCP and ICH
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and influencing skills
