Job Summary

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist Level II to join our team. As a critical care transport specialist, you will be responsible for providing patient care and stabilization during transportation by Med Center Air. This role requires a strong foundation in respiratory care, critical thinking, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze patient data to inform care decisions
  • Provide respiratory care and stabilization during transportation
  • Collaborate with medical control physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program
  • Current RT license or temporary license as a registered petitioner
  • RRT certification required, BSRT preferred
  • Three years of clinical respiratory care experience in the Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care Unit
