Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care in a supportive, community-focused environment at a well-established wellness center in Alaska.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages, checking for vision defects and general health conditions like diabetes or hypertension.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within state guidelines and provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract and refractive surgeries.
  • Write referrals and collaborate with other healthcare providers when needed.

  • Collaborative Team: Work alongside an Optometry Director, Office Manager, and three Para-Optometric Technicians.
