Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support
    • Assist engineers in preparing technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other design software.
    • Review and update project drawings based on engineer feedback.
    • Support cost estimate preparation.
  • Field Work
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, take measurements, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
    • Document site conditions and communicate findings to the project team.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project records as required.
    • Maintain project files, including drawing logs, specifications, and as-built documents.
    • Support project schedule development and progress monitoring.
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
    • Promote and adhere to safety practices in all phases of work.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
    • Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Clean Background Check.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Use of personal vehicle for site travel, with liability insurance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of site planning, storm and wastewater management, road design, and traffic studies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and committed to professional development and continuing education.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in CAD Design, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $80,000 per year, based on education and experience. Additionally, Becker Morgan provides an attractive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and term life insurance, at no cost to the employee. We also contribute 50% of elected deferral to 6% of the employee's salary, offering paid parking, three weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, performance bonuses, flexible schedule, and professional and educational allowances.
