CORE Consulting Group Inc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Investigator to join our team in the Western USA region. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in construction forensics, investigations, and reporting.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled investigator with a strong background in general contracting, structural engineering, and construction estimation. As a Senior Structural Investigator, you will be responsible for conducting site investigations of existing structures, reviewing building assemblies, forensic reports, and code analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze structural issues in buildings and other infrastructure projects
  • Conduct thorough site investigations, including documentation and reporting
  • Review and analyze building plans, specifications, and codes
  • Provide technical reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on structural investigation and analysis
  • College degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or architecture
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
