Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Palo Alto Security Engineer to join our team. As a Palo Alto Security Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing numerous Palo Firewall Security/NAT policies, developing perimeter security / firewall architecture to protect cloud assets, and identifying and implementing workload optimization in AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will participate in incident response for supported cloud projects, train and educate team members to become self-sufficient in public cloud, and troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven work experience as a Palo Firewall Engineer/Architect, years of experience with cloud deployments of next gen/firewall (ex. Palo Alto), and years of experience with cloud architecture and networking.

You will also have strong planning and problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), CCSP, Terraform Certification.

Responsibilities
  • Palo Support/Troubleshooting for various applications
  • Implement numerous Palo Firewall Security/NAT policies
  • Develop perimeter security / firewall architecture to protect cloud assets
  • Identify and implement workload optimization in AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Participate in incident response for supported cloud projects
  • Train and educate team members to become self-sufficient in public cloud
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Need to be U.S. based resource
  • Proven work experience as a Palo Firewall Engineer/Architect
  • Years of experience with cloud deployments of next gen/firewall (ex. Palo Alto)
  • Years of experience with cloud architecture and networking
  • Years or experience in cloud development, infrastructure as code and automation/deployment
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot in highly complex, technical situations within a matrixed organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), CCSP, Terraform Certification
