Job Summary

The Senior Business Process Engineer is responsible for consulting on and managing intermediate to large cross-functional projects and change initiatives involving the design and delivery of business process solutions, implementation strategies, and control measures. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a business process library/repository with the latest version of documentation at all times.
  • Facilitate process improvement meetings and workshops, including business process reengineering sessions, brainstorming sessions, and Kaizen events.
  • Maximize technology tools available to support business process improvement initiatives.
  • Create value stream diagrams/process maps to document current and future state business processes.
  • Ensure total document and data integrity.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reports to support business process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform detailed analysis of workflows and processes, as well as researching and identifying benchmarking and best practice opportunities.
  • Assist the decision-making process for various business needs.
  • Understand and use fundamentals of statistical data analysis.
  • Analyze the functions and operations of Northwest Bank and identify problem areas.
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
  • Recommend/develop business processes, administrative procedures, technical procedures, and action to be taken based on financial information and trends.
  • Gather feedback and conduct surveys through needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis.
  • Train other team members on the use of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis, histograms, and process mapping.
  • Provide guidance to junior level process engineers ensuring the proper process improvement tools and techniques are applied to each project.
  • Align technology with business strategies.
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements, and formats.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest Bank's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations.
  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Work with on-site equipment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, business management, accounting, or finance.
  • 6 years banking or related experience.
  • 6 years Proven experience in continuous improvement within the Financial Services Industry, Consulting or Industrial.
