Registered Office Nurse

Lancaster General Health is seeking a skilled Registered Office Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Office Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an office setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive functions, through patient/provider office visits, nurse visits, and telephone triage.
- Collaborate with Physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to provide patient care and assume responsibility and accountability as defined by the American Nurses Association standards of nursing practice.
- Implement care in a knowledgeable manner and coordinate patient care across several disciplines and among caregivers.
- Provide leadership to other members of the team by effectively communicating expected standards of care and encouraging and supporting team members and their contributions.
- Assign, delegate, and intervene as appropriate to assure that the plan of care is carried out, continuity of care is provided, and that established outcomes are achieved through availability and appropriated utilization of human, material, and financial resources.
- Facilitate invasive procedure patient education, scheduling, and coordination.
- Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices. Utilize technology where appropriate.
- RN licensure, issued by the PA Board of Nursing
- CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support
- This role requires occasional regional travel. Ability to travel to multiple sites is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Inpatient or Outpatient General and Vascular surgery experience/knowledge
- Attention/Concentration: The position requires the ability to attend to more than one aspect of a situation simultaneously.

- Lifting: The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Sensory Abilities: The position requires vision and hearing.
- Position involves exposure to biohazardous waste and blood-borne pathogens.
