As a Training and Development Specialist at Little Creek Casino Resort, you will play a key role in shaping our team's growth by designing and delivering impactful training programs that ensure our team members have the skills needed to excel in their roles and provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and learning objectives.
  • Design and update training materials, including guides, flowcharts, and eLearning content.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to ensure training accuracy and relevance.
  • Develop assessment criteria to measure learning outcomes and impact.
  • Deliver training in various formats, from in-person sessions to online courses.
  • Manage training logistics, from scheduling to communications, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and career development specialists to optimize programs for current and future leaders.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in instructional design, needs assessment, and training facilitation.
  • Experience with eLearning development tools and LMS management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple training initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze performance data and continuously improve training effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a training or instructional design role.
  • Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Paylocity, ADP, or Paycom preferred.
  • Tribal Human Resources Professional Certification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, is a plus.
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
