Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center. As a member of our medical oncology unit, you will provide direct patient care and work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

You will be responsible for performing initial triage evaluations, assigning acuity levels to patients, administering treatments, medications, and procedures within your scope of practice. You will also participate in coordination of care with management staff, team leaders, physicians, department staff, and ancillary services.

In addition to providing direct patient care, you will be responsible for delegation of duties to technical support staff, maintaining accountability of delegation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and responsibilities while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Our medical oncology unit specializes in Solid Tumor Oncology, Hematology Oncology, and Surgical Oncology patients. Our patients have frequent visits for their treatments, allowing you to build lasting relationships with them and their families.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensure: Current TN RN or Compact State License in state of residence
  • BLS obtained within 90 days of employment
