Accouting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at Vector CSP LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including verifying the accuracy of financial documents, examining and verifying clerical accuracy of reports, and making entries or adjustments to accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of established bookkeeping and accounting procedures and techniques used in an accounting system. Additionally, they will have knowledge and understanding of automated accounting systems, including terminology, codes, and processes.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, LTD, STD, life insurance, dental, 401K, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting tasks such as verifying financial documents, examining reports, and making account entries.
• Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial information.
• Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry and mathematical accuracy.
• Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a government contractor.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
