We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Lead and Programme Manager to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to have 15+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

The ideal candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills, be able to work effectively with others, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

An active and transferrable DoD Secret level security clearance is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, analyse, document, and track project cost, schedule, performance, and risks.
  • Develop project management products, such as resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with critical path analysis.
  • Lead collaborative efforts to develop Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), including Request for Proposals (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data, Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Document Summary Lists (DSLs), Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Assist in identifying and integrating modernization requirements while implementing principles of Modular Open System Architecture (MOSA).
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines resident at the Army System Readiness Directorate (SRD) - Airworthiness to support qualification of aviation avionics and mission equipment.
  • Support Obsolescence activities, including forecasting of long-time buys and alternate part procurements to extend component life.
  • Provide overall direction and coordination of a multi-disciplined, functional Integrated Product Team (IPT), consisting of Government and OEM contractor personnel.
  • Use technical knowledge and experience to assist in making sound engineering design decisions.
  • Prepare and/or briefing presentations, training materials, white papers, etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 15+ years' relevant work experience.
  • Project Lead/Program Management experience.
  • Must possess experience, education or training in related field.
  • General understanding of DO-178 design and development processes.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to program changes based on design / acquisition / schedule / cost requirements.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance.

Salary: This is a competitive salary offer of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
