Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team at Health First Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, promoting a culture of safety and quality, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, policies, and procedures, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN highly preferred.
- Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card and any required certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate patients/equipment up to 90% of the assigned shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 90% of the assigned shift.
This role is based at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida, and requires a flexible schedule, including per diem shifts.
