In this role, you will provide support and guidance to our preschool program, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for our students to learn and thrive. You will work closely with our lead teachers to implement educational curricula, plan activities, and adapt daily routines to meet the unique needs of each child.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education, has excellent communication skills, and is able to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. About the Role:
- Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities and curricula
- Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, nap time, and outdoor activities
- Help to create a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and quality controls
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, providing excellent communication and support
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain current status in first aid, child abuse prevention, and CPR
Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to complete training and maintain current status in first aid, common childhood illnesses, child abuse prevention, and CPR
- Ability to meet physical demands, including interacting with children at floor level, running, jumping, lifting children, and lifting equipment as needed
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
