Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a detox or acute care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with adolescents and adults in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
