Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our property management team at Renaissance Apartments in Tallahassee, FL. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting, to ensure the overall quality and safety of our properties.

  • Respond to resident requests and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

  • Assist with turnkey operations, preparing vacant units for rent, and performing various repairs to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize unexpected repairs and maintain the overall condition of our properties.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years' experience in building and facility maintenance, with a strong background in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

  • Possession of a valid trade certification in HVAC, electrical wiring, or plumbing is highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify solutions to complex maintenance issues.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, contractors, and other staff members.

  • A flexible schedule, with the ability to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the hotel's operational needs.
