Medical Billing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Billing Director to lead our billing operations at Jupiter Medical Center Physicians Group, Inc. This role is responsible for managing all billing components, including establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, streamlining processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of RCM experience, knowledge of various billing systems, and familiarity with payer reimbursement procedures. They should also possess excellent leadership skills, ability to work independently, and effectively manage different priorities and projects.
Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of 15 members, overseeing daily billing operations, and implementing effective billing processes across multiple provider types, groups, and facilities.
- Establish, design, implement, and enforce billing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Analyze business situations, controls, and risks, and recommend practical solutions to improve quality and productivity.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of billing requirements for various payors, including CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and ICD-10 PCS coding guidelines.
- Conduct Evaluation and Management Coding Audits to ensure the organization meets integrity and standards according to regulatory agencies' standards and regulations.
- 5+ years of RCM experience, preferably in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of various billing systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, STAR, AllScripts, Cerner, E-ClinicalWorks, Point-Click-Care, 3M, HPF, Experian Claims Source, and others.
- Familiarity with payer reimbursement procedures and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze business situations, controls, and risks, and recommend practical solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the department, as well as manage some professional billing components and processes.
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
