Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to manage and coordinate overnight care in the ICU for Cardiac Thoracic post-surgery patients. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage high-acuity patients and prioritize care based on each patient's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate overnight care in the ICU for Cardiac Thoracic post-surgery patients
  • Manage high-acuity patients and prioritize care based on each patient's needs
  • Be detailed oriented and maintain an open line of communication with all staff
  • Model a collaborative, professional relationship with all staff

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment
  • Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ICU critical care experience
  • Two (2) years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Two (2) years experience as a RN
