About the Role:

Cutlers Janitorial Llc is seeking a skilled Custodian to perform various custodial duties at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust and damp mop using germicidal techniques
  • Sweep and maintain facility entranceways, rooms, common areas, and restrooms free from debris and trash
  • Remove trash and dispose of waste materials
  • Vacuum and spot clean carpets
  • Operate industrial cleaning machines
  • Restock and clean restrooms using germicide solution
  • Wipe down and disinfect areas
  • Maintain custodial supplies in assigned storage areas

Requirements:

  • Ability to work at various locations within Hampton Roads when needed
  • Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the duties of the position
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety
  • Ability to operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position
  • Ability to use custodial systems such as those used to track work orders and two-way radios for communication
  • Ability to perform work involving regular physical activity, observe safety requirements, and adhere to safe work practices and methods
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies
