About the Role:
Cutlers Janitorial Llc is seeking a skilled Custodian to perform various custodial duties at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dust and damp mop using germicidal techniques
- Sweep and maintain facility entranceways, rooms, common areas, and restrooms free from debris and trash
- Remove trash and dispose of waste materials
- Vacuum and spot clean carpets
- Operate industrial cleaning machines
- Restock and clean restrooms using germicide solution
- Wipe down and disinfect areas
- Maintain custodial supplies in assigned storage areas
Requirements:
- Ability to work at various locations within Hampton Roads when needed
- Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the duties of the position
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to ensure safety
- Ability to operate and care for custodial equipment and supplies applicable to the position
- Ability to use custodial systems such as those used to track work orders and two-way radios for communication
- Ability to perform work involving regular physical activity, observe safety requirements, and adhere to safe work practices and methods
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative work relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies
