Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Damage Restoration Specialist to join our team at US Recovery Services LLC. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for leading water damage restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and perform water damage restoration tasks, including containment, drying, and equipment operation.
  • Document jobs with photographs and download to job files.
  • Maintain equipment used in daily tasks, including debris removal, containment/drying chambers, and pump systems.
  • Properly identify Class 4 materials, moisture measurements, and deploy effective drying/restore techniques.
  • Evaluate structural material integrity and contents for direct and indirect water damage, accurately assessing restoration vs. replacement costs.
  • Create moisture maps using provided tools and knowledge.
  • Supervise small crews on above tasks.
  • Additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
  • Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
  • Current IICRC WRT designation (preferred).
  • Demonstrate proper use of meters and IR cameras, understanding of affected vs. unaffected building materials and contents.
  • Demonstrate ability to draw sketches, read floor plans, complete Moisture Content Logs, and determine drying goals.
  • Demonstrate understanding of air mover calculations, LGR dehumidification charts, electrical power specs, and electrical circuits.
  • Demonstrate mastery in the use of HydroSensor, Thermal Hygrometer, NavPro Moisture Meter, or equivalent, and recording of data.
  • Experience with truck mount extraction systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising small crews on residential/commercial and industrial losses.
  • Eligibility to operate a motor vehicle per US Recovery Services LLC vehicle policy.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • English language literacy and fluency.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time).
  • Access and mobility in tight spaces.
  • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • Ability to use mobile devices for data collection and time tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to receive instructions from the Supervisor.
  • Direct teams in the use of proper PPE for the job.
  • Review daily project requirements, document progress, and notify managers of challenges encountered.
  • Provide field documentation, photographic records, charts, and sketches for TPA projects.
  • Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, keeping vehicles clean and in perfect condition.
  • Attention to details.
  • Comply with US Recovery Services LLC standards to safeguard customer property.
  • Must have a deep knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to work with time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
  • May be required to travel and work at night and on weekends.
  • Must inform management in a timely and accurate manner about time worked and equipment/consumables used.
  • Attend operations-sponsored training courses and security training as necessary.
