Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. The successful candidate will provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention, and will be responsible for managing a small counseling caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services to individuals, groups, and families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other treatment team members to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical consultation and assistance to members of the treatment team as needed.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State.
  • Eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary treatment team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
