Medical Office Manager

The Coder 1 performs coding audits and reviews of outpatient provider services to support coding optimization and compliance for the medical group.
This role involves working with multiple specialties across the medical group, focusing on coding for evaluation and management and procedural services.
In addition to audits and reviews, the Coder 1 will work closely with outpatient providers to provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and support with code entry, documentation, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCC coding.

AAPC or AHIMA coding-related credential is required. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of medical coder experience in a medical office or physician billing office.
- Effective time management and organizational skills are essential for this role.
- Experience coaching and training physicians is a plus.
