As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Under the direction of the nurse manager, you will perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care activities based on standards defined by the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and reassess patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient care based on established protocols and procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote patient safety and quality care.
- Current MA license as a Registered Nurse.
- AHA BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
- AHA PALS certification within six months of hire.
- TNCC, ENPC, and CEN certifications preferred.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities. The nurse must be able to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, and be able to stand for long periods of time.
