Job Summary:The Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the CVICU setting. This includes assessing, diagnosing, and initiating medical processes and procedures, as well as participating in quality and best practice initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose patients in the CVICU setting
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality and best practice initiatives to continuously improve patient care and outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Master's Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post-masters certificate program for nurse practitioners
