Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate veterinary assistants to join our team at The Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine Inc. in North Haven and Guilford locations.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced emergency and specialty practice, providing top-notch patient care and assisting experienced veterinarians and boarded specialists.

• Provide exceptional patient care, including feeding, walking, and bathing animals.
• Assist with diagnostics and treatments, such as obtaining radiographs and performing laboratory work.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient operations.
• Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, doctors, and other staff members.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary experience preferred.
• Possess a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
• Demonstrate emotional stability and maturity when dealing with challenging situations.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and work in a noisy environment.
• Able to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
