Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in Edison, New Jersey. As an ICU Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians to develop effective treatment plans.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients, implementing nursing care, and coordinating individualized plans of care based on patient needs. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and implementation
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Manage care of patients based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 2+ years of strong experience in critical care and a background in med/surg
- A valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
- BLS-AHA certification
- ACLS-AHA certification
- NIHSS certification
- PREFERRED: CCRN certification

Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location. A tax-free stipend amount will also be provided. Please note that salary may vary based on individual circumstances.
