Located in the St. Louis metro area, Joyce University is seeking dedicated and energetic instructors to join our Clinical Nursing Faculty team.

We are committed to providing high-quality education to our students, and we believe that our clinical faculty members play a vital role in achieving this goal.

The primary responsibilities of the Clinical Nursing Faculty include implementing the curriculum, instructing students, and upholding the policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the University.

Clinical Nursing Faculty will work at assigned clinical locations in the St. Louis area and typically fill 1 or 2 shifts per week per academic term for Part-Time or 3 shifts per week for Full-Time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately calculate and report student performance and attendance in a timely manner
  • Maintain evidence of professional growth including membership and participation in professional organizations, continuing education, concurrent related practice experience, educational research, and an awareness of current practice standards
  • Attend staff meetings, pinning, graduation, and other University events
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and professional development activities to enhance the teaching-learning process and provide evidence of participation to the HR Generalist
  • Assist in compilation of statistical data and other information as requested for accreditation and other organizational needs
  • Utilize instructional methods that accommodate various learning modes of students
  • Identify and remediate behavioral and academic deficiencies
  • Submit suggestions and supportive data for improving curriculum
  • Maintain integrity of curricular offerings
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Required license: RN, unencumbered in the State of Missouri

Required education: Masters Degree in Nursing

Required Experience: 2-3 years in nursing

Preferred teaching experience: 2-3 years in teaching

Compensation: Estimated $40-$46 per hour based on location and experience
