Overview

Healthcare United is seeking a Cardiologist to join our staff at a progressive, academic health system in central New York.

Duties and Responsibilities

Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. Offer a full range of noninvasive testing including MRI, CT, echo, and nuclear cardiology. The busy noninvasive lab performs over 10,000 echos and 2000 nuclear scans yearly, with dedicated reading time for professionals.

Outpatient, inpatient, and regional patient care are key aspects of this role. The integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record streamlines tasks and enhances efficiency. Faculty teaching of cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students contributes to professional development.

  • Night call twice monthly with fellow and resident support
  • Cardiac Cath Lab with STEMI and structural program
  • Electrophysiology program with full range of device implantation and ablation programs
  • Cardiac surgery service
Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • MD, DO, or MBBS degree
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
  • New York State Licensure
  • BLS Certification Required
  • DEA Required

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $410,000 - $530,000 per year. A sign-on bonus up to $100,000 may also be offered.
