Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Urology team at Yale-New Haven Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assess patients' physical and psychosocial conditions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized patient plans
* Provide education to patients and families on various aspects of their care, including medication management and post-operative instructions
* Assist in intra-office procedures, maintaining a sterile field and adhering to universal protocol guidelines

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
* 2-3 years of nursing experience, with a focus on urology or ambulatory/medical office settings
* Proficient in electronic patient records software and internet-based literature searches
* Valid State of Rhode Island Registered Nurse License and BLS certification within one month
