Correctional Nursing Opportunity

Salary and Benefits

Competitive pay with a salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, plus shift differential and sign-on/retention bonus. Additional benefits include pre-tax medical, dental, and vision coverage options, short- and long-term disability, company-paid life policy, two weeks PTO accrued during the first year of employment, eight paid holidays, bi-weekly direct deposit, and 401(k) retirement plan eligibility after one year.

Job Responsibilities

As an LPN, you will be responsible for delivering patient care, evaluating symptoms, reactions, and progress of patients, charting results, establishing nursing plans, and working under the boundaries of state scope of practice and guidelines. You will also administer prescribed medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulations, follow through with established treatment plans, perform emergency intervention, physical assessment, and critical thinking.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a current LPN license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in correctional healthcare is preferred but not required.

About the Position

This is a night shift position with a 3/4 12-hour rotation and EVO weekend schedule. You will work at the Washington County Jail, providing high-quality care to inmates and making a positive impact on their lives.
