About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Records and Information Management to oversee the CHS RIM Program and drive compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This key leadership role is responsible for building and managing the RIM team, collaborating with stakeholders, and implementing information governance policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Oversight
    • Lead and manage the organization's RIM program, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Learning and Communications
    • Provide training and awareness programs for employees on records and information management policies and procedures.
  • Audit and Compliance
    • Oversee internal assessments to ensure adherence to records and information management policies.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of the RIM program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Retention and Disposition
    • Manage the retention and disposition of records and information, ensuring processes are followed according to organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Litigation Support
    • Assist with litigation holds, discovery responses, and subpoenas by retrieving and managing relevant records and information.
  • Technology Governance
    • Oversee the implementation and use of records and information technology and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in library sciences, social sciences, information systems, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of records and information management experience.
  • Experience in evaluating and managing the implementation of records and information management tools and data disposition/deletion.
  • Information Governance Professional (IGP) and/or Certified Records Manager (CRM) preferred.
