Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, New Jersey.

About the Role

This is a part-time position with opportunities for per diem work. The successful candidate will provide clinical care to residents in our neighborhood, following nursing standards of practice, state board regulations, and Erickson Senior Living's guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with residents and their families, prioritizing their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
  • Assess, observe, and evaluate resident conditions, documenting findings in electronic medical records and notifying providers or RNs as necessary.
  • Update or modify care plans to reflect changes in resident needs.
  • Supervise and lead care associates, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Administer medications accurately and according to orders.
  • Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to residents, family members, or responsible parties.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care.
  • Licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Passion for caring for seniors and advocating for their needs.
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English language.
