We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

  • You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing outpatient surgeries and procedures.
  • Assess, plan, and evaluate pre-op and post-op patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Prepare and monitor patients for surgeries and procedures, administering medications and IV therapy as needed.
  • Provide pre-op and post-op patient teaching and emotional support to promote a smooth recovery process.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Acute care experience in Surgical Services is preferred but not required
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • BLS certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
  • ACLS certification is preferred

Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience
