Senior Psychiatric Director

Our client, a renowned academic hospital, is seeking a Senior Psychiatric Director to lead the Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large multi-disciplinary service.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff within the Behavioral Health Services department.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary leadership team to enhance service integration and effectiveness.
- Demonstrate a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents.
Qualifications:
- MD degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
- 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
