NDT Operations Specialist

The NDT Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of NDT personnel qualification and certification programs. This role requires a strong understanding of NDT codes, standards, and specifications, as well as the ability to develop and maintain technical procedures and forms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Periodically review and update NDT certification examinations to ensure their effectiveness.
* Recommend program improvements as needed and revise NDT personnel qualification and certification procedures to maintain program compliance.
* Develop and maintain all specifications for NDT, including technical procedures, forms, and supporting documentation.
* Assist in preparing capital expense and operating budgets related to NDT programs.
* Provide support for training initiatives and serve as a representative to ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant bodies.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
* Current ASNT NDE Level III certificate in the NDT method responsible and adequate knowledge in the NDE method responsible.
* NAS-410 certification preferred, CWI preferred.
* Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, prioritize work assignments, and communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.
