Job Summary

We are seeking a highly engaging and customer-focused individual to join our Reservations team as a Reservations Agent. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing exceptional service, be open to learning, and lead by example in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive guest interaction that builds anticipation for their upcoming visit
  • Provide accurate information on room packages, special promotions, and events
  • Make guest reservations for all resort accommodations
  • Ensure accuracy of reservation, recognize guests' needs, and communicate requests to appropriate departments
  • Promote revenue optimization concepts to maximize resort revenue capabilities
  • Utilize training of reservations software system to complete reservations in a timely manner
  • Generate and audit daily reservations reports to ensure completion, accuracy, and preparedness
  • Enhance guest vacation experience by generating interest in resort amenities and outlets
  • Strive to achieve monthly ADR, conversion, and revenue goals
  • Maintain a strong familiarity with the resort and surrounding area
  • Remain up-to-date on all resort and amenity offerings, promotions, and campaigns
  • Effectively handle internal and external guest situations and resolve challenges to guests' satisfaction
  • Maintain strong relationships and communications with Accounting, Front Desk, and Guest Services teams
  • Interact with resort staff in a polite and respectful manner
  • Upsell whenever possible through positioning the product, utilizing sales techniques, and gathering personal information to anticipate and cater to guests' needs
Requirements

We are looking for a driven individual with a passion for excellence, a great attitude, and a proven track record of providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be open to learning, lead by example, and be knowledgeable about revenue optimization concepts.

The successful candidate will have experience in a hotel/resort reservations team, enjoy engaging with people from all over the world, and be able to effectively handle internal and external guest situations. They will also be able to maintain strong relationships and communications with Accounting, Front Desk, and Guest Services teams.
