Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements related to health information management and HIPAA.
  • Preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Nursing duties such as measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and performing clinical tasks.
  • Observing patients, charting, reporting changes in patients' conditions, and taking necessary actions.
  • Operating or overseeing the operation of X-ray equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Explaining procedures and observing patients to ensure safety and comfort during X-ray scans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-ray technologist, preferably in a clinic setting.
  • An Indiana State License and proof of ARRT License (for Indiana residents).
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
