Multilingual Liaison Specialist

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Multilingual Liaison Specialist to join our team at All Hallows Catholic Church. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in multiple languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate various documents from English to target language, ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity
- Edit translated documents for consistency and clarity
- Assist new families with district enrollment documents, providing support in their native language
- Conduct welcome sessions in the target language for new members of All Hallows Catholic Church
- Support existing members by presenting information in the target language
- Provide language support to All Hallows Catholic Church families visiting the ESOL office, addressing questions, problems, and concerns
- Offer over-the-phone language support to All Hallows Catholic Church families contacting the ESOL office
- Participate in planning ESOL Program meetings, contributing ideas and expertise
- Record automated messages in the target language to communicate district information to All Hallows Catholic Church families
- Make phone calls in the target language to communicate district information to All Hallows Catholic Church families
- Contribute to day-to-day operations of the ESOL office, ensuring smooth communication
Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in target language, both orally and in writing
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Computer literacy, proficient with MS Word and ability to type 40 wpm
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position, and the estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. If you are a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
