Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Life Time Fitness. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clubs, including maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Respond to repair requests and prioritize emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure member satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other facilities team members to ensure seamless operations and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for members and guests.
  • Record all repair and preventative maintenance activities in our CMMS software to track and analyze performance.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
  • State-approved Boiler/Engineer's License preferred.
  • CFC certification, Aquatics Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) / Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and work in a stationary position for prolonged periods.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Trade or technical school degree.
