Waste Management Driver

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Driver- CDL (B) to join our team at Republic Services. As a key member of our collection team, you will be responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in compliance with our safety standards.
- Safely operate the truck along designated routes and to disposal sites, reading route sheets and following maps to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate manual and/or automatic controls to lift and load refuse, compact waste, and dispose of collected material at designated facilities.
- Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure all customer routes are serviced efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Good customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
