Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

Job Summary: Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide services in schools in Providence, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will have RBT certification and CPI training or be willing to be trained.

Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a BCBA to assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting students with behavioral needs.
  • Assist in the execution of behavioral programs designed by the BCBA, including data collection and progress monitoring.
  • Work directly with students to implement discrete trial training, behavioral interventions, and curriculum modifications as outlined in the behavior plans.
  • Support classroom teachers by helping create learning materials and providing hands-on assistance with behavioral interventions.
  • Collect and maintain data on student behavior and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the BCBA.
  • Provide support for behavior programming during the extended school year, under the BCBA's guidance.
  • Attend training sessions conducted by the BCBA and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in ABA and behavioral strategies.
