Overview:
Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. As a member of our medical staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the medical team to provide exceptional care and supervision to students.
- Administer medications, including routine immunizations.
- Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely delivery and distribution of medications.
- Assist physicians during medical and psychiatric visits.
- Maintain accurate student health records.
- Communicate effectively with families and agencies.
- Arrange and accompany students to medical appointments.
- Ensure confidentiality of student information.
- Participate in staff meetings and uphold company policies.
- Represent our organization positively.
Requirements:
- Valid LPN or CMA certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Understanding of medical office protocols and procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
