Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a licensed Speech Therapist Assistant to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a valid Connecticut State SLP License and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
  • Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress

Requirements:

  • A valid Connecticut State SLP License is required
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is required
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
