Account Executive

At Community Coffee Company, we're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying market growth opportunities and securing new Office Coffee Service, Food Service, and Convenience Store accounts within an established territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation
- Develop a prospect list from business directories, trade associations, and other available sources
- Drive company or personal vehicle between company and customer or potential customer locations to perform job duties
- Gain a thorough understanding of client business through customer needs analysis and recommend creative solutions
- Present company offerings through product demonstrations and sales proposals, including price quotes
- Collaborate with internal departments on new products and offerings, promotions, pricing strategy, and distribution
- Coordinate smooth customer setup and transition to regular route service based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules
- Record activity and submit reporting through CRM system
- Participate in trade shows and special events to promote the company's products and services
- Stay informed of market trends and competitive position in the industry
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of outside sales and cold calling experience
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
- Ability to prepare documents and reports with a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative
