Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC) engineer to provide technical expertise and oversight services to our DoD customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and provide feedback on technical documents related to EMI/EMC matters.
  • Identify and resolve EMI/EMC risks and issues.
  • Develop and provide input to plans of execution, including scope, budget, resource needs, and schedule.
  • Perform requirements analysis and provide input to the design, implementation, test, and installation of electrical and electromechanical subsystems.
  • Perform project management duties and create related documents.
  • Develop and review engineering and contractual Scopes of Work (SOWs) for prime contractors.
  • Interface with customers and other DoD organizations to solve problems.
  • Participate in and oversee EMI/EMC testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 15 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience with antenna cosite analysis and radio frequency (RF) desensitization.
  • Expertise in electromagnetic Interference (EMI), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), Electrical Environmental Effects (E3), and spectrum supportability.
  • Familiar with MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464.
  • Electrical, computer, and/or systems engineering experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
