Opportunity Overview

At BAS Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Mental Health Physician to join our team in providing medical disability examination and evaluation services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This is a unique opportunity for a physician to work on an as-needed basis, offering flexibility and autonomy in their schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial PTSD exams, follow-up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams
  • Complete evaluations in the provider portal
  • Record review is required in most cases

Compensation and Benefits
  • Initial PTSD Exam compensation, including times to complete exams, submit report, and any addendums
  • PTSD follow-up and all other mental health exams compensation, including times to complete exams, submit report, and any addendums
  • One-time bonus for completing all required training
  • Mileage reimbursement at the IRS Standard Rate for personal vehicles only
  • Parking, tolls, and rideshare reimbursement

Requirements
  • Must be a licensed physician
  • Must have DMA certification or be willing to obtain it
  • Must have a personal laptop (Windows-based)
