Job Title: Floating Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Floating Maintenance Technician to join our team at American Property Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our apartment communities, including the Kinect @ Lynnwood Apartments and the Kinect @ Broadway Apartments.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Assist in getting units "rent ready" by completing tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
  • Abide by safety requirements at all times and safely use chemicals and equipment as part of everyday duties.
  • Maintain grounds, work and storage areas, and dumpster areas on a daily basis to ensure curb appeal up to company standards.
  • Ensure lawns are mowed and trimmed, and entryways, walkways, and driveways are blown and free of debris.
  • Ensure equipment is serviced on a regular basis to maintain safe operations.
  • Be on-call for emergencies or snow removal.
  • Maintain and enforce all company policies and procedures as established in the Operations Manual.
Requirements:
  • 1-2+ years' experience in multifamily or hotel maintenance required.
  • Must be well-versed in the unit turn process from start to finish.
  • Must have experience in tracking and maintaining inventory.
  • Must provide own basic hand tools - the Company will provide power tools.
  • Experience providing great customer service to residents and/or customers is required.
  • Driver's license is required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
  • Maintains a positive outlook and embraces a collaborative team approach.
  • Shows responsibility and takes pride in their work.
  • Fluent in English, with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
