Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the maintenance of our tools, equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimum efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance work based on priority and resources, minimizing impact on construction projects.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of parts and tools needed for maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities and equipment status to management, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Train maintenance staff on new procedures and protocols to enhance their skills and understanding.
  • Predict potential maintenance issues before they occur, using data analysis and predictive maintenance tools.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance planning within the construction industry.
  • Technical knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance planning software and other related computer applications.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certification in Maintenance Management or a related field would be an advantage.
