Life Care Center of Puyallup is a leading healthcare provider seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist who can work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care services, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote independence and self-care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Washington
  • At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a post-acute care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
