Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Penn State Health.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated individual to provide high-quality patient care and support to physicians in medical settings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physical examinations, administering injections, providing wound care, and arranging patient referrals, among other duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Making rounds and conducting thorough physical examinations of patients
  • Performing routine injections and other medical procedures as needed
  • Caring for wounds and ensuring proper healing
  • Coordinating patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare services
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program or a baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of Pennsylvania
  • National Certification in Pennsylvania or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
